As a Worker in the MASH you could be involved in case discussions with various professionals including: police, health and politicians, decision making at a critical early point. This is an exciting time to be joining the team with the introduction of the Social Service & Wellbeing Act (SSWB Act) and the development of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) which means the team is based in a co‑located unit at Cardiff Bay Police Station with partner agencies engaged in the Safeguarding agenda.
Fast paced, office based, no case holding but with a constantly changing work load the Children’s Services MASH team is looking to recruit a suitably experienced Grade 8 Social Worker. The work involves timely risk assessment of contacts / referrals to the MASH and the early identification of those at risk including multi agency strategy discussions for decision making and safeguarding actions.
It is essential you are a Registered Social Worker for this post.
