Estate Services is currently seeking a diligent and experienced individual to join our Caretaking Services Team as a Caretaking Building Service Manager. In this role, you will lead our team in providing exceptional cleaning and caretaking services for blocks of flats and buildings within Cardiff.

About the job

As the Caretaking Building Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality building management and caretaking services in high-rise blocks, single and family hostels, and community living schemes (sheltered housing complexes). You will collaborate closely with our Tenancy Services, Void Management Unit, and Homeless Teams to coordinate clearance and cleaning activities for void properties or vulnerable tenants.

• Previous experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in housing management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Experience in staff management, training, and development.

• Commitment to delivering high‑quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff, provide training and support, and manage performance.
