Cardiff Council is seeking Independent Social Workers (Form F Assessors) to join their in-house fostering service, Foster Wales Cardiff. The role requires:
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Living within a radius of 40 miles of Cardiff
- Previous fostering experience, including completion of Form F assessments
- At least 3 years' experience in social work
Assessors will be responsible for:
- Completing Coram Baaf Form F assessments and Connect Person's Assessments
- Assessing and preparing prospective Foster Carers and kinship carers for presentation to panel
- Attending panel meetings held on Wednesdays to present assessments
- Conducting face-to-face visits at the applicant's home
Supervision and regular check-ins with a supervisor will be provided. All assessments will be paid at a rate of £2,250 per assessment.
