About the Role
Are you ready to make a difference? The Pathway to Board Programme is a groundbreaking initiative designed to equip Black, Asian, and minority ethnic individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel on boards across Wales and beyond. Now in its fifth year, our programme is changing lives, strengthening businesses, and redefining Welsh leadership. Over 55.5% of our alumni are now serving on boards, bringing fresh perspectives and driving positive change. 25% of our candidates have experienced career enhancement throughout the programme, and an increased self-confidence in their leadership journey.
This nine-month board training programme offers comprehensive training, practical insights, and ongoing support, specifically tailored to springboard your new board journey. Participants will have networking opportunities, and a placement within an organisation in Wales where they can practise, observe and maximise their learning journey.

We’re thrilled to invite the next group of aspiring board leaders to join our transformative programme aimed at black and ethnic individuals in Wales. We are especially interested in individuals with experience or expertise in the following areas:
