About the Role

At CCHA, we’re #oneteam – working together to create safe, supportive and thriving communities. We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Health, Safety & Learning Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our learning, development and health & safety activities. This is a primarily operational and data-driven role, ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, accuracy and working with systems and processes. You’ll be central to ensuring that statutory and organisational learning and health & safety requirements are met, records are well maintained, and colleagues receive clear, timely support. By delivering high-quality coordination and administration, you’ll directly contribute to colleague wellbeing, capability and safety – supporting our ambition to be a well‑run, financially strong and sustainable organisation. This is a part time role - 15h per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Learning & Development
    • Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, invitations, attendance tracking and follow-up actions.
    • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and training trackers.
    • Gather and track training feedback and evaluation metrics.
    • Support L&D projects and contribute to learning activities where appropriate.
  • Health & Safety
    • Provide administrative support for health & safety processes, communications and record keeping.
    • Administer incident reporting, ensuring accurate logging and sharing with managers.
    • Produce a monthly summary report on health & safety activity.
    • Track health & safety compliance activity including risk assessments and sign-offs.
    • Request quotes, place orders and track health & safety equipment where required.
    • Support health & safety projects and improvement activities.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with data and records.
  • Confidence using Office 365, especially Excel spreadsheets and trackers.
  • Ability to interpret data and produce clear, simple reports.
  • Clear, professional communication skills when working with colleagues and managers.

Desirable

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems or compliance tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting learning, training or health & safety activities.
  • Understanding of mandatory training or compliance requirements.
  • A qualification (or working towards one) in Learning & Development, Health & Safety or administration.

About You

Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, Learning & Development Partner and managers across the organisation, you’ll act as a central coordination point for learning and safety activity. Your work will ensure processes are consistent, compliant and well governed, while providing reliable information to support assurance and decision making.
