Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is seeking an experienced and driven Integrated Transport Manager to lead the Integrated Transport Unit in its delivery of Schools, Community Care, and Public Transport services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of passenger transport services to a broad range of clients.
  • Deliver a lean and integrated transportation service focused on safety, cost control and service quality.
  • Provide confident leadership that aligns with the Council’s Corporate Plan and contributes to reducing the Council’s carbon footprint.
  • Balance strategic leadership with the demands of a busy operational environment, maintaining continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with elected members, senior officers, partners and stakeholders, providing expert advice and ensuring the service responds to changing needs, legislative requirements and community expectations.
