Homefinder Officer – Full time, based in Ty Sardis, Pontypridd.
Contract Details
Full‑time (37 hours per week). Salary: Grade 7, £31 022 per annum.
About Homefinder
Homefinder is a busy service partnering with 11 Housing Associations providing social housing in RCT.
The Homefinder Officer processes housing applications and works with partners to let properties via the Homefinder RCT website.
Responsibilities
- Process applications for housing in accordance with the current Allocation Scheme.
- Work in partnership with Housing Associations to facilitate letting of their properties.
- Promote an effective, efficient, customer‑focused service to all applicants and housing partners.
- Apply knowledge of housing legislation and relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of housing legislation.
- Experience working within a housing services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality customer service.
- Safeguarding
Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council.
The successful applicant will also be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
