Coroner’s Court Usher & Administrative Assistant (Temporary) South Wales Central Coroner Area

Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm (subject to change)

Location: Coroner’s Office, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide Court Usher assistance to support the Coroner in the smooth running of Inquests.
  • Provide administrative support directly to H.M. Coroner and his colleagues and the wider Administrative Support Team.
  • Interact with a wide range of stakeholders including Funeral Directors, Local Service Boards, Families, Solicitors and Witnesses.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and flexibility in their approach to work, along with excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Protect children and vulnerable adults, and be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
