An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and flexible individuals, who are knowledgeable in Health and Fitness to join the Fitness Suite team at Abercynon Sports Centre. You will be responsible for supervising customers using equipment, inducting new members, compiling training programmes, taking fitness classes and dealing with customers of all fitness levels and abilities.
As such, you will be an excellent communicator with a very high level of customer care skills. You will possess a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification or equivalent and preferably have experience in working in a similar busy environment and be aware of current fitness trends. The possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate, current Fitness Class Instruction certificates and Fitness Assessment qualification / GP Referral Qualifications are also desirable. Alternatively, you will be given the opportunity to work towards achieving these within an agreed timescale.

In addition to this safeguarding responsibility, the successful applicant for this role will also be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
