Relief Development Trainer - Internal Only in Cardiff

A new vacancy has arisen within our training department, and we are looking to appoint a Relief Development Trainer to join the team.

Reporting to the Training Manager, you will be an established driver and have held a full PCV licence for a minimum of 2 years.

You will undergo a development program to support you in delivering a range of driver training, this includes but is not limited to; new starter training, driver CPC’s and other internal initiatives that are taking place.

As a Relief Development Trainer, you will remain withing the operations team and complete normal duties but will be available to the Training Academy when required. When supporting the training Academy, you will be required to work the hours and shifts that the rest of the team are working, this does include early starts evening, occasional late shifts and weekend working.

Your Skills and Experience

• A passion for the business and delivering excellent customer experience.
• Able to demonstrate at least two years of professional driving experience
• Exceptional driving standards as well as a professional approach to communication on all levels.
• Excellent communication skills both written and in person.
• Required to have sufficient levels of ICT, numeracy and literacy to complete reports and feedback in line with Company policies and procedures as well as DVSA/ DVLA requirements.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative, whilst building positive relationships across the business.
• Confident and willing to deliver training to a group of people.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
