This is a full‑time permanent position working 39 hours a week, your shifts can fall any day of the week including bank holidays and you are required to be fully flexible Monday to Sunday.
- Salary
- Training hourly rate of £13.34
- Qualified hourly rate of £15.00
- Enhanced rates on the weekend of up to £19.07
The role
We are looking for people with a full UK Drivers Licence, with passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will also be required to,
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as necessary.
- Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- What you need
- Hold a full UK drivers’ licence for at least 12 months.
- Have no more than 6 Points (all driving offences must be disclosed at application stage)
- Must be a regular confident driver.
- Familiar with the Cardiff area
- Previous experience as a bus driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
