Clinical Fellow Emergency Department in Wrexham

Applications are invited for Clinical Fellow posts within the Emergency Departments at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, two of the major acute hospitals within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. These exciting roles offer the opportunity to gain broad and varied experience across Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine and inpatient services, while working within supportive and experienced multidisciplinary teams. The posts will include ward-based responsibilities alongside participation in the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit out-of-hours rotas. These posts are based across Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, providing opportunities to work within busy and dynamic Emergency Departments that deliver high-quality patient-centred care. With approximately 60,000 attendances each year, our Emergency Departments offer a diverse case mix that will keep you clinically challenged while allowing you the time to provide compassionate, holistic care to your patients. As active Trauma Units within the regional Trauma Network, we deliver modern trauma care and play a key role in the management of seriously injured patients. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team of Consultants, SAS Doctors and junior medical staff, supported by a highly skilled nursing workforce and an expanding team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Career progression and courses

• Ability to provide a complete employment history
• Evidence that career progression is consistent with personal circumstances
• Evidence that present achievement and performance is commensurate with totality of period of training
• At least 12 months experience at FY1 and FY2 level, Evidence of experience in emergency medicine, acute medicine or surgery
• Successful completion of 1 of the 3 UK advanced life support provider training courses (ALS, ATLS and APLS) or equivalent courses
