About the Role
Akari Care is looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or a Care Assistant who wants to take the next step in their career.
In this role you will work alongside a team of care assistants to deliver the highest quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Observe, review and finalise care planning needs for residents.
- Assist with daily care activities and support the wellbeing of residents.
- Develop and propose social activities to enrich residents’ lives.
- Support and supervise junior and new colleagues, providing training in line with Akari’s values.
- Maintain a warm, respectful and personal environment that feels like home for residents and their families.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to short‑notice changes.
- Warm, approachable and engaging manner with a caring nature.
- Respect for all, treating others as you would expect to be treated.
