Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred care – ensuring residents receive personal care, including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences and promoting choice and independence.
- Carry out care reviews to confirm resident plans reflect their needs.
- Administer medication safely, in a supportive and compliant manner.
- Lead and participate in social activities, including trips out and other engagements within the home.
- Support new staff or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called upon to lead the home when senior managers are unavailable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- NVQ Level 2 – Health and Social Care qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 – Health and Social Care qualification, or working towards it.
- Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as required.
- Daytime shifts: 8am to 8pm; night shifts: 8pm to 8am.
