Recovery Worker – Weston-super-Mare
We are recruiting a full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Recovery Worker to provide high‑quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. You will work within a highly skilled, multi‑disciplinary team that supports your development and ability to deliver the best care to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.
- Work with clients to identify their goals, ambitions and passions, and to create the best treatment plan for their needs.
- Deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination and delivery of evidence‑based interventions.
- Assist in administering key work responsibilities as a frontline worker.
- Work 37.5 hours per week (09:00‑17:00), with a Wednesday evening shift; time in lieu will be granted during the working week.
- Work as part of a fixed‑term contract until 31/03/2028.
Salary
Starting salary of £26,250 per annum, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands to a maximum of £30,900 per annum.
Qualifications and Experience
- Some experience working in a health, social care or related setting.
- Experience delivering services in a community setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence‑based interventions.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritise work.
- Organised with excellent time‑management skills.
- Flexible with working hours on occasion and willing to support other With You locations when needed.
- Previous experience or volunteering with people who misuse substances (preferred).
- Lived experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with a wide range of people.
