Overview

We are expanding our Warrington services and are seeking compassionate, reliable Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated support for a lady in her 50s with complex clinical needs.

As an assistant, you will play a vital role in her care journey, helping her return safely and comfortably to her family home while she is awaiting discharge from a specialist neurological care and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, moving and handling, and attend to complex clinical care requirements in the user’s home.
  • Offer companionship and support engagement in her favourite activities day and night.
  • Maintain the user’s privacy, dignity and right to privacy.
  • Work without direct supervision, following the individual care and support plan.
  • Enable the user to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
  • Coordinate with a dedicated team to ensure clinical and comfort needs are met.

Qualifications

  • 3 months care experience.
  • Confident with medication administration.
  • Personal care and moving & handling experience.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for shadowing and training opportunities.
