Overview
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our busy Radiology Department across University Hospital Wales. The Waiting List Appointment Coordinator role involves participating in the day-to-day operations within the radiology waiting list/appointments office(s) and assisting the department with waiting list management issues.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the day-to-day operations within the radiology waiting list/appointments office(s) and assist with waiting list management issues.
- Be the first point of contact and liaise with patients, and a wide range of colleagues, clinicians and nursing staff.
Requirements
- Self-motivated with outstanding attention to detail.
- Proven computer knowledge, good organisational skills and the ability to cope well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills, with good written and verbal communication; able to deal with the public in a professional and approachable manner.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
