Overview
We are seeking a motivated and forward‑thinking GP to join our friendly, well‑established practice across two Wirral sites.
This salaried role offers a supportive, progressive environment focused on reducing GP workload and improving work‑life balance.
With no on‑call commitments, flexible start and finish times, and a structured clinical day, you will be able to deliver high‑quality patient care without unnecessary pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care through face‑to‑face consultations and telephone triage.
- Manage a structured clinic of appointments across morning and afternoon sessions (12 patient appointments + 3 telephone calls in the morning; 12 patient appointments + 2 telephone calls in the afternoon).
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and support continuity of care for registered patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to shared decision‑making and efficient patient management.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support safe, effective care delivery using EMISWeb.
- Participate in the development or contribution to specialist clinics, depending on interests.
- Support & Resources
- Paramedics handle the majority of home visits.
- Clinical pharmacists support medication management and prescribing queries.
- Clinical admin team reduces administrative burden on GPs.
- Efficient triage and workflow systems.
- EMISWeb clinical system.
- Practice Setting
Our practice operates across: Hoylake & Meols Medical Centre (approx. 9,000 patients) and Egremont Medical Centre (approx. 4,500 patients).
The team includes 4 GP Partners, 7 salaried GPs, ANPs, practice nurses, HCAs, clinical pharmacists, paramedics, and a dedicated clinical admin team.
