Responsibilities
- Assist with patient duties as required, supporting clinical staff and the Nurse Lead with patient care.
- Support the practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and maintain compliance.
- Provide phlebotomy and perform routine health checks (BMI, blood pressure, pulse) and simple wound care for patients with long‑term conditions such as diabetes.
- Complete administrative tasks, including new patient registrations, leaflets distribution, stock control and ordering.
Qualifications
- Experience in a primary care setting, including phlebotomy.
- Ability to work within established processes and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and strong interpersonal skills (polite, patient, personable).
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, email).
- Sound judgement and awareness of professional boundaries.
