About the role
Westrop Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fulfil a role within our expanding busy reception team at Taw Hill Surgery.
This role involves daily face-to-face and telephone contact with patients, arranging appointments and following up on patient-related tasks.
The position offers further training and the opportunity to support patients in navigating to the most appropriate care for their needs.
Responsibilities
- Front desk face-to-face customer service
- Deal with a high volume of phone calls from patients, doctors and hospital departments
- Booking and updating appointments
- Administrative support such as back-office tasks and liaising with doctors and hospital departments
- Follow-up on patient-related tasks and liaise with patients to ensure timely service
- Assist with general reception duties and maintain a friendly, diplomatic disposition
- Reporting
Reporting to: Operations Manager.
