Salaried GP in Stockton-on-Tees

Overview Elm Tree Surgery is a popular, high performing training practice with a growing patient list size of 18.5k located in Thornaby, Stockton‑on‑Tees. The practice is an active member of Stockton PCN and uses SystmOne. The practice offers a supportive and collaborative team environment, encouraging learning, development and personal growth. We will be welcoming a salaried general practitioner to join a team of 5 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, ACPs, paramedics, a clinical pharmacist, practice nurses and HCAs. Responsibilities Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone patient appointments (sessions). Provide patient triage, admin filing of bloods/letters and timely assessment of incoming electronic and paper correspondence. Home visits and record clear, contemporaneous I.T.‑based notes in patient records. Prescribe according to the practice formulary, local and national guidelines. Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other health care workers. Participate in regular meetings and support the team‑working culture. Qualifications and Experience Registered GP on the General Practitioner Register (article10) and not subject to suspension. Completed Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and current NHS Performers list status. DBS clearance. Evidence of time‑relevant revalidation/appraisal cycle.
