Overview

Our site is located in a rural setting with its own parking, an on‑site gym, cafeteria, team‑building days, and well‑being events each year. We provide regular 1‑1s and a strong scope for professional growth.

Hours: 30hours a week, Monday‑Friday 8‑4pm, with flexible scheduling options (3× long days or 4× shorter days). No weekends.

Position Summary

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner you will have a varied set of responsibilities, demonstrating sound judgement in assessing and managing complex patient problems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for the mental‑health team.
  • Act as a role model, maintaining professional appearance and standards.
  • Support senior clinicians on site and contribute to the daily leadership team.
  • Provide clinical input for all patients.
  • Ensure patient safety and effective management of complex cases.
  • Apply the most up‑to‑date treatment methodologies.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of mental health and substance‑misuse practitioners.
  • Extend clinical expertise within secure environments (prison, young offenders, immigration removal centres).

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC.
  • Independent or supplementary prescriber qualification.
  • Substance‑misuse experience – desirable.
  • MSc in Advanced Practice – desirable.
  • Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best‑practice guidance.
  • Experience in hospital, community or prison environments (ideal).
  • Legal right to work in the UK and undergo additional vetting and security checks.
