As a Specialist Clinical Coder, you will:
- Accurately abstract, analyse, and assign complex diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications.
- Work closely with clinical teams to validate and enhance the quality of coded data.
- Take the lead on specific specialties and complex coding scenarios.
- Act as a mentor to junior coders and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical engagement, KPI monitoring, audit preparation and data quality improvement.
