Lead primary care operations across 20-30 contracts, owning day‑to‑day regional activities and ensuring high quality service delivery while driving growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations across primary care contracts.
- Line‑manage Senior and Lead Pharmacists, providing coaching and clinical oversight.
- Monitor KPIs, contract performance and workforce metrics, stepping in proactively when needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with GP Practices, PCNs and ICBs.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with CQC and NHS governance.
- Identify opportunities for service growth and commercial development.
- Report regional performance to the Managing Director and senior leadership.
- Maintain autonomy over region scheduling and operations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a senior operational or leadership role in primary care.
- Direct, hands‑on experience in GP, PCN or NHS settings.
- Ability to lead and influence multi‑site teams.
- Deep knowledge of NHS structures and PCN operations.
- Strong performance management and analytical skills.
