One Health is seeking a Consultant Neurophysiologist to support and grow our Neurophysiology team across South Yorkshire, Leicestershire, and Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities
- Assess and undertake investigations for NHS patients referred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System.
- Perform all neurophysiology requirements, including EMG and NCS, and manage complex spinal cases.
- Work across multiple outreach clinic sites in South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
- Subject to onboarding process and approval from the Clinical Governance Lead.
- Obtain and maintain Practicing Privileges for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a professional, empathetic telephone manner.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a similar neurophysiology role within a private or NHS setting.
- Current NHS post or long‑term locum post of more than 12 months, or a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 years before leaving the NHS.
- GMC registration with no hearings or restrictions.
- Relevant subspecialty qualifications (e. g., FRCS(orth) in Orthopaedics) or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
