We're now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant at Rivermere Care Home in Sevenoaks.

Role Overview

Senior Care Assistant at Rivermere Care Home, Sevenoaks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor each resident's wellbeing and any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variations.
  • Participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Conduct staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
  • Additional Requirements
  • A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar care environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
