About the Practice
We are a GP Practice in Swindon looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our multi‑disciplinary team across three sites.
The role is part‑time, ideally 2 days a week, with remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide NHS general medical services to practice patients and eligible patients.
- Respond to patients’ medical problems, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referral where appropriate.
- Work in partnership with patients to provide high‑quality care, following NICE guidelines and local protocols.
- Provide preventive health care and advice tailored to the patient group’s needs.
- Attend primary health care team meetings and any other meetings as required.
- Undertake relevant administrative and non‑clinical duties necessary for the delivery of medical services.
- Maintain patients’ clinical records to the highest possible standards, entering data accurately using recognised templates and clinical coding.
- Deliver care within the Quality and Outcomes Framework and participate in the clinical audit programme.
- Provide certification and other documentation as outlined in current NHS regulations.
- Conduct home visits to patients when clinically necessary.
- Supervise and support the development of health professionals within the practice.
- Process post and pathology reports in accordance with practice protocols.
- Participate in the organisation's annual appraisal and revalidation processes, upholding professional integrity and standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Medical degree with JCPt GP/PMETB eligibility; fully registered doctor in the GP Register of the General Medical Council.
- Current Licence to Practice and inclusion on the Medical Performers List.
- Certificate of Prescribed or Equivalent Experience, Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or equivalent certification as per NHS regulations.
- Not suspended or disqualified from practice.
- Experience in general practice, strong communication skills, ability to assess complex needs, and a team‑player attitude.
