Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical care for acute, chronic disease and preventive care, including face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations as part of a total triage model.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and ensure effective continuity through personal list working where possible.
Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and significant event reviews.
Support and supervise trainees and students when appropriate, based on experience and interest.
Manage administrative tasks related to patient care, including referrals, pathology results, and correspondence.
Take part in duty doctor sessions on a shared rota basis and engage with practice development, innovation and service improvement.
Qualifications Full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Performers List.
Qualified General Practitioner (completion of Training – CCT).
Currently on a Practice (or GP) performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register.
DBS clearance.
Experience working in primary care and commitment to ongoing CPD and maintaining professional standards.
Desirable Evidence of further postgraduate educational activities in relevant fields (e. g., MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG, RCGP).
Substance Misuse Certificate Level 1 or 2.
F2 supervisor training/teaching diploma or equivalent.
Excellence in coagulation insertion procedures.
CPD activities that demonstrate continuous professional development.
