Job Overview
Academy Physiologist – Romford. FWC | Physiology | Permanent | Full time. Salary up to £29,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete our in‑house three‑week training course.
- Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service.
- Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
- Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
- Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client’s needs first.
- Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during the first 12 months in the role.
Training & Development
All Academy Physiology roles are mobile; you will be required to travel within the region of your base site. Successful candidates will be expected to attend a training camp scheduled for September2026.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:2 in Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.
- Ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
