The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 € per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients arriving at CAVOC for orthopaedic surgery.
  • Use clinical systems to input patient data on admission; obtain details (GP name, date of birth, address, etc.) from the PMS system and verify them with the patient on arrival.
  • File or record investigative results as required.
  • Check patient notes for the following day against theatre lists, ensuring all notes are located and ready.
  • Print theatre lists for the following day from the in‑house computer system and distribute them within the unit.
  • Manage a busy telephone system.
  • Proactively request patients’ notes from Medical Records in a timely manner ahead of proposed surgery.
  • Work alongside members of a multi‑disciplinary team daily.

Qualifications:

  • Proven organisational and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work hard under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
