Overview
As an Associate GP you will play a vital role in enhancing our PCN services, focusing on improved health in Care Homes, urgent, acute and routine clinics, addressing the frailty domains of the GP Delivery Improvement Framework, supporting urgent care demand and conducting in‑person and telephone consultations.
You will visit patients at home and in nursing homes, manage repeat prescriptions and clinical administration, and collaborate closely with our PCN team to enhance patient care and frailty management.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality care in care homes and community settings.
- Run urgent, acute and routine clinics.
- Address frailty domains within the GP Delivery Improvement Framework.
- Support urgent care demand management.
- Conduct in‑person and telephone consultations.
- Visit patients at home and in nursing homes.
- Manage repeat prescriptions and clinical administration.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified GP with full GMC registration and a licence to practice.
- Must be on a performers list and possess a UK driver’s licence.
- Experience working in a GP practice using EMIS is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to empathise and listen actively.
- Team‑oriented with excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
