ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part‑time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all‑round care and support for our residents. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as a Bank Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement. The Activities Assistant at Barchester Healthcare plays a vital role in promoting wellbeing and engagement among care home residents. This role requires creativity and empathy to design and facilitate activities tailored to residents’ varied interests and abilities. As a casual and flexible position, it offers an opportunity to help craft an invigorating and supportive environment that aligns with the organisation’s mission of celebrating life. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn’t essential especially because we’ll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
