We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well motivated individual who is able to demonstrate an interest in patient rehabilitation, into this Physiotherapy Support Worker role. There is one post based on the medicine wards at the University Hospital Llandough and the second in the University Hospital of Wales. The post holder will work as part of a large team of physiotherapists and support workers providing physiotherapy to predominantly frail older people.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of exercises and activities of daily living including some aspects of personal care.
  • Some administrative duties as part of the role.

Qualifications and Essential Qualities:

  • Interest in patient rehabilitation; caring and kind, well organised and able to use own initiative.

Desirable:

  • Ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
