Responsibilities
Provide catering service within a hospital ward, working between 15:30 and 19:30 on any five of the seven days. Work independently or as part of a team, maintaining food hygiene and customer care standards and adapting to the ever‑changing healthcare environment. Prioritise workloads according to schedules and service needs, ensuring the delivery of quality service to patients, relatives and staff. Adhere to COSHH, health & safety and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
Current food hygiene certification. Strong customer care skills, organisational and communication abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively. Experience working in a busy service is desirable, as is knowledge of hospital catering. Training will be provided for any gaps in knowledge of COSHH, health & safety and infection control.
