- This role calls for equal excellence in technical and people skills
- You'll need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately
- You'll deliver high quality ultrasound imaging & reporting for a varied caseload within the department, and on the ward as required.
- The role will be largely based around Gynaecology service and patients. What are we looking for in a Sonographer?
- You'll have a BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Post-Graduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound
- Post registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
- Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage., You'll have a BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Post-Graduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound, Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
