An opportunity has arisen to join our team of housekeepers / cleaners at Littlemore Mental Health Centre providing a safe clean environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Part‑time role (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 20 hours per week) based at our Oxford Clinic supporting long‑term patients.
- General cleaning on ward areas, including mopping floors, cleaning toilets and around patient rooms.
- Carry out daily cleaning routines in line with national cleaning standards.
- Perform cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures.
- Follow Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Basic cleaning skills
- Some knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Experience in cleaning
- Previous experience in NHS environment / health care setting
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Understanding of Microsoft Word / Excel
- Food Safety trained, NVQ Level 1 in cleaning
- Demonstrate an interest in learning / further training
