An opportunity has arisen to join our team of housekeepers / cleaners at Littlemore Mental Health Centre providing a safe clean environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Part‑time role (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 20 hours per week) based at our Oxford Clinic supporting long‑term patients.
  • General cleaning on ward areas, including mopping floors, cleaning toilets and around patient rooms.
  • Carry out daily cleaning routines in line with national cleaning standards.
  • Perform cleaning tasks as scheduled.
  • Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Basic cleaning skills
  • Some knowledge of cleaning chemicals
  • Experience in cleaning
  • Previous experience in NHS environment / health care setting
  • Food Hygiene Level 2
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word / Excel
  • Food Safety trained, NVQ Level 1 in cleaning
  • Demonstrate an interest in learning / further training
