Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor

The Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor will assist the Occupational Therapist to carry out delegated duties, within the acute team at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. They will supervise and instruct the patients in activities relating to their treatment programme and regularly feedback to the Occupational Therapist. We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our Occupational Therapy team at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor.

• Previous experience of working in an MDT., Caring responsibilities.
• Experience of facilitating groups
• Employment in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience working within a rehabilitation setting, preferably stroke., Care Certificate or the willingness and ability to undertake.
• GCSE English and maths or equivalent.
• Essential IT skills (EITS) or equivalent.
