Overview

The GP Partner will provide high quality, patient‑centred clinical care while sharing responsibility for the leadership, management and strategic development of the Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive general medical services, including diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and long‑term conditions
  • Provide safe, effective and patient‑focused care in line with clinical guidelines
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the Practice
  • Share responsibility for financial performance, governance and regulatory compliance
  • Support, mentor and lead members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Engage with the Primary Care Network (PCN) and wider healthcare partners
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation in patient care and service delivery
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, building lasting relationships with patients and guiding them through their healthcare journey
  • Shape the future of the Practice, driving improvements, leading teams, managing resources and ensuring the highest standards of care

Qualifications

  • Qualified GP with current GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to high standards of patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
  • Interest in leadership, service development and partnership working
  • Training accreditation and teaching or mentoring experience
  • Extended‑roles or special‑interests training accreditation (if applicable)
