Overview
The GP Partner will provide high quality, patient‑centred clinical care while sharing responsibility for the leadership, management and strategic development of the Practice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive general medical services, including diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and long‑term conditions
- Provide safe, effective and patient‑focused care in line with clinical guidelines
- Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the Practice
- Share responsibility for financial performance, governance and regulatory compliance
- Support, mentor and lead members of the multidisciplinary team
- Engage with the Primary Care Network (PCN) and wider healthcare partners
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in patient care and service delivery
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, building lasting relationships with patients and guiding them through their healthcare journey
- Shape the future of the Practice, driving improvements, leading teams, managing resources and ensuring the highest standards of care
Qualifications
- Qualified GP with current GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to high standards of patient care
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
- Interest in leadership, service development and partnership working
- Training accreditation and teaching or mentoring experience
- Extended‑roles or special‑interests training accreditation (if applicable)
