Community Staff Nurse in Nottingham

You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and will work flexibly supporting the team to deliver high quality integrated care. Aspects of the role include: To assess, plan, implement, promote and evaluate safe, creative and effective treatment plans in collaboration with the patients diverse needs, their carers and other professionals Deliver interventions that are evidenced based Be responsible for the safe monitoring, management and administration of medication Work autonomously, building leadership skills and advanced clinical assessment skills You will build effective relationships with patients, their carers, family and colleagues across the MDT You will develop exceptional planning and organisational skills You will be able to analyse care and treatment provided, and develop sound clinical decision making You will be trained to deliver high quality care and develop Knowledge in all areas including palliative care, leg ulcer management, acute and chronic wound care, understand bladder and bowel dysfunctions, provide supportive care to carers and family members You will delegate and support junior staff, building leadership skills.

• Professional Qualification (Registered General Nurse) to degree level or equivalent.
• Maintains current registration with the NMC

• Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
• You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
