Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced audiologist to support our Audiology Team in the newly built Community Diagnostic Centre on the Sunrise Coast.
The role involves adult, paediatric and tinnitus assessment pathways, vestibular rehabilitation, and participation in accreditation and quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct adult, paediatric and tinnitus audiology assessments.
- Provide vestibular rehabilitation for all patient groups.
- Participate in UKAS IQIPS accreditation processes for the CDC and main Audiology site.
- Contribute to quality assurance, audit and peer review activities.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work within NHS audiology service guidelines.
Qualifications
- BSc (Audiology) or a nationally recognised audiology qualification; eligibility for AHCS/HCPC registration or currently working towards registration.
- Appropriate NHS in‑service training in audiology.
- Competence in routine audiology assessments.
- Experience working within an NHS audiology department, including extended role or higher level positions.
- Experience in paediatric testing, complex adult testing and tinnitus work.
- Experience in vestibular testing.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; approachable and personable.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage a busy workload and work independently.
- Good dexterity, fine‑motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
- Working Hours
Full‑time position with flexible hours, offering a 4‑ or 5‑day week or a 9‑day fortnight schedule.
Location
North Norfolk – Sunrise Coast, with easy access to the Norfolk Broads, picturesque coastline, and the historic city of Norwich.
London is approximately 90 minutes by train from Norwich.
