Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Gastroenterology secretarial department.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Medical Secretarial Team in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service.
  • Outline new and efficient processes for inpatient and outpatient waiting list management in accordance with the Patient Access Policy.
  • Communicate appointments and admission-related information to patients and carers, both verbally and in written correspondence.
  • Answer queries, type correspondence within performance targets, and support the delivery of local and national NHS targets.
  • Assist with the management and utilisation of clinics within your area.
  • Apply knowledge of Microsoft packages to support administrative duties.
