Role Overview

Support the Head of Procurement – Commercial Contract Management in the development, implementation and success of the department's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract performance governance strategies, setting targets and indicators.
  • Negotiate contractual issues ensuring all procurement processes are adhered to.
  • Analyse purchasing activity data to identify contract development opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, presenting complex information in a clear, comprehensive format.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified to CIPS NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, with demonstrable CIPS knowledge.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Strong purchasing skills and depth of experience across a range of supply/service areas.
