We are looking for a Housekeeper to join Chadwick Lodge in Milton Keynes. The role involves maintaining a safe, clean environment for service users who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and have a history of offending behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Clean all areas of the service including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors’ areas.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are spotless and meet hospital security standards.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation protocols.
- Greet visitors and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, visitors and service users.
- Assist with any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or secure setting.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
