An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic manager to join Integrated Childrens Services in Redbridge.

We are looking for a Head of Service for Redbridge CAMHS who will play a key role in providing strong and inspirational leadership as part of an integrated approach to improve CYP mental health and wellbeing across the Borough.

The role involves supporting the team, department, and organisation to achieve the organisation's values, delivering high-quality CAMHS services, improving outcomes for CYP and their families, and fostering joint working with the local partnership.

You will be responsible for the operational management of Redbridge CAMHS and will work with the clinical leadership team to deliver high‑quality, responsive and efficient services that meet the needs of the local population.

Effective staff management skills and a compassionate, strengths‑based approach are required to create effective working relationships within the MDT CAMHS team and with external stakeholders such as CYP, families, GPs, Local Authority Services and Schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective operational and clinical leadership and direction to service leads and multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Support and develop the strategic direction for the service in line with national policies and locally identified health priorities.
  • Monitor, review and adapt services to meet changing service user needs and commissioning requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of clinical and care quality standards and objectives.
  • Support and influence the development of new patient pathways in response to the requirements of the commissioners.
  • Oversee patient pathways and flows into and out of Community Services.

Compensation and Benefits

  • High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: 15% of basic salary (minimum £4,870 and maximum £6,137 per annum, pro‑rata for part‑time).
  • Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period.

The basic salary calculation for sponsorship does not include the High‑Cost Area Supplement to ensure fairness and consistency within the Trust.
