Role Overview
The childrens medical wards L40 Lcat and L30 have vacancies for Band 3 clinical support workers at Leeds Children’s Hospital.
These roles support a team of clinical support workers and apprentice clinical support workers within the medical wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect compassionate care to children and young people as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
- Escalate concerns regarding patients’ physical or psychological needs, or changes in their clinical condition to a registered practitioner within appropriate time frames.
- Use personal initiative to achieve planned care outcomes.
- Key Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and electronic format, including accessing and updating patient records on central databases or electronic systems.
