Overview
We are looking for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join Victoria Gardens, a specialist rehabilitation service in Huyton, Liverpool.
The role will work with service users with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge, delivering best‑practice care and supporting the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group psychological interventions.
- Conduct diagnostic and cognitive assessments and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and undertake duty of care.
- Facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and design and deliver training.
- Manage a caseload of service users, including assessment of complex needs and formulation of specialist psychological treatment plans.
Qualifications
- BPS‑recognised psychology degree (or equivalent).
- HCPC registration and Chartered Psychologist status.
- Post‑graduate qualifications in psychological theory and practice.
- Experience delivering specialist psychological treatments and undertaking complex assessments.
- Approved supervisor within BPS guidelines, with supervisory experience in line with BPS requirements.
