Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a passionate and skilled Specialist Podiatrist to join their team. The role of the Specialist Podiatrist is to apply evidence‑based specialist knowledge and skills to the assessment, treatment and care planning of complex or chronic podiatric conditions; and provide skilled care for patients with diabetes and other long‑term conditions presenting with moderate to high‑risk foot needs.
Applicants should be able to work autonomously and effectively within the multidisciplinary team, seeking support when necessary to ensure safe and effective care. They will determine clinical diagnosis and treatment, maintaining excellent clinical records, and will be responsible for a defined population of service users across the Trust including community clinics, domiciliary and hospital settings.
Qualifications and Experience- Podiatry Diploma/Degree
- Local Analgesia Certificate
- Valid registration with HCPC
- Experience of working in both a team and in isolation
- Experience managing a caseload of at‑risk patients
- Experience working within the NHS
