As an Apprentice you will be required to assist with the provision of a comprehensive and effective service to support the smooth and efficient running of the Service Desk. You will also be required to communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal/external personnel and work as part of a team within the service support function delivering a high quality service on behalf of the UHB.
To attend regular review meetings with the supervisor and assessor, leading to a Foundation Apprenticeship for IT Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals Level 2.

Essential Skills Wales Level 1 in Communication

Essential Skills Wales Level 1 in Application of Number

Essential Skills Wales Level 2 in Digital Literacy, Supporting IT issues and requests for over 15,000 members of staff within Cardiff and Vale over many different site locations. We provide support on the phones and troubleshoot issues remotely or physically. We manage IT projects and the successful candidate will be able to support these as well as carrying out their daily duties.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
