You will provide clinical and operational leadership to the OT team, fostering a supportive environment and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, goal-focused care.
You will champion therapy-led, person-centred approaches and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
Working in partnership with a physiotherapy team lead, you will share leadership responsibilities, including cross‑cover when needed, ensuring continuity for patients and staff.
You will also collaborate across wards and services, supporting patient flow, early intervention, and integrated care between inpatient and community settings.
You will join a strong network of OT and AHP leaders with a focus on collaboration, shared learning, and innovation.
Responsibilities

- Provide professional and operational support relating to the provision and development of the therapy team and support colleagues in the provision of Therapy Services across Portsmouth South East Hampshire Division.
- Take responsibility for the operational management of the team, including recruitment and selection, appraisal, CPD and disciplinary procedures, working to ensure effective operational performance within appropriate budgetary constraints.
