Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining buildings, facilities and equipment to be fit for purpose.
- Use DIY skills to perform safety checks and repairs.
- Carry out regular maintenance checks.
- Assist in all decorating tasks.
- Report faults and defects to management.
- Participate in a one‑week on‑call rota for emergency maintenance.
- Coordinate and support external contractors, complete paperwork and tool checks.
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Show courtesy and respect to patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance role.
- Capable DIY skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Compliance with system and procedures.
- Willingness to attend training sessions and staff meetings.
- Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service users.
- All candidates will be subject to a DBS disclosure.
